What do you need to install a system?
Our systems are developed for indoor use only and are very straightforward to install. There are two things you need these are:
– Wall power connection
– Stable internet connection ≥ 50Mbit/s
Installation procedure
After you plugged in the server with our supplied adapter and Ethernet cable we need ensure a connection can be made to the Storj network. To be able to do so we need to change some settings in your Modem/Router this can be done remote and/or on location. After we have updated the settings the software will be installed and you are officially a host!
How much can I earn?
Not only are you contributing to a decentralized cloud network, but you can also earn money with it.
When becoming a host you get 10% of the profit of the server(s) you host! The electricity costs are completely covered by us, so there is no risks or any downside.
If you even want to earn more money you can become an investor and invest in the hardware. When investing in the hardware you take some risks but the profit increases depending on your investment (see become an investor)
